Séance is an interactive installation piece that features custom digital hardware... or at least that’s what you’ll perceive it to be. In reality, it’s a profane ritual that utilizes the arcane power of unholy artifacts. Three participants are required to perform the rite, each with the goal to contact their deceased friend. But untangling the web of information isn't quite so simple - each player has a secret to keep and everything to lose.
While being an interactive installation, Séance is a LARP experience for our guests and is able to have up to 3 players: The Doctor, The Clergy, and The Banker (we can go up to four players if needed and The Doctor's Assistant is added to the gameplay). We give the illusion that each player is talking to the spirit of their deceased friend, Clarence Fletcher, with the usage of Arduinos to control the environment such as the Radio, Lighting, Sound etc. Our "magic circle" for the game is a 10x10x10 foot tent using pvp pipes, blankets, pillows, and the altar and its offerings.
